Embassy Suites by Hilton Irving Las Colinas

My husband and I stayed here for 4 days to visit family. I will say this hotel is in a great location with lots of retail and restaurants. And just a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Dallas. The rooms were very clean. My minor complaints are: The dining room for breakfast is way too bright and very loud. I had to take my breakfast back up to my room for peace and quiet. Breakfast is good though and I liked that they are able to make fresh eggs to your request. They have a very nice breakfast buffet. I do wish they didn’t use the unrefrigerated coffee creamers. They are just nasty. Their coffee was okay, but if you need real coffee, there is a Starbucks within walking distance. The lights in the hotel room are insanely bright and irritating. They need to change those out to softer lights. Otherwise, I would stay here again in the future.

Aside from the 0600 garbage pick up that shook the whole building for a solid 15 min, this is a new and nice Embassy Suites hotel. The location is actually quite nice and central to the city and incredibly close to the airport. Happy hour complimentary drinks and snacks are on the skimpy side…very little selection of free snack (one) and drinks are limited to only the cheapest of wines, not all wine like some. Still, it’s free and the give you two per night. And it’s a nice bar and new lobby.

From the moment we checked in, my husband and I felt welcomed. The front desk staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They explained all the amenities, gave us our complimentary drink vouchers, pointed out breakfast times and locations, and even shared information about things happening in Dallas. That extra touch made my trip (which was both for business and leisure) even more enjoyable. The room itself was very comfortable and clean. A couple of small fixtures at the top seemed a bit loose, which I mentioned to housekeeping. And the shower head was not the greatest, but otherwise everything was in great condition. The only concern I had was with the elevators. One of them made a very loud, unusual noise, and I noticed there wasn’t a posted elevator inspection certificate. In Texas, the certificate of compliance is required to be posted in a visible area for building users, so this caught my attention. With my busy schedule I didn’t have a chance to bring it up to the front desk, but it’s something that may need to be addressed. On the positive side, breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The staff preparing and serving were so kind, and everything was fresh, delicious, and quickly made. It really set the tone for the day. Overall, this hotel was a wonderful experience, and I would absolutely return. Whether for business or leisure. My husband and I both agreed this will be our go-to place whenever we’re in the area.

This is a relatively newer hotel so the rooms are nice and up to date. Rooms are clean and generally have been well stocked, but on our last stay there was only one small roll of toilet paper and we had to ask for another one. Pretty good location, away from the airport, but close enough to everything in the area. I've stayed here a couple of times for business trips and will definitely use it again in the future. You may have to park behind the building if you get there late in the day, but everything is well lit.

Even outside, the grounds are beautifully maintained and well-kept, creating a lovely environment that is pleasant to walk through. For those traveling by car, there is the added convenience of plenty of available parking spaces, which is always a welcome relief. The amenities deserve a special shout-out, particularly the dining options. The hot buffet breakfast is truly delicious and remarkably fresh, offering a wide variety of choices that easily exceeded standard hotel fare. Starting the day with such a high-quality meal was a major highlight. We also thoroughly enjoyed the very good bar in the evenings, which provided a great spot to unwind after a long day. Location-wise, the hotel is perfectly situated. It's in a safe, secure area and offers excellent proximity to key destinations. Being close to the airport makes travel logistics a breeze, and its easy access to both the convention center and the city means you are never far from business or entertainment. This Embassy Suites checks every box: stunning ambiance, delicious food, superb comfort, and, most importantly, unforgettable customer service. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Johanna was honestly a highlight of our stay. She was warm, kind, patient, and had such a calm, welcoming energy. You can tell she truly enjoys helping people. Interactions like that don’t go unnoticed, she made us feel right at home. Thank you for being such a beautiful soul!

First off I want to express how the employees work so hard for this hotel, being a business owner i noticed our morning breakfast was so amazingly awesome and even the gentleman who cleaned up after everyone was so nice and courteous. This place is a very happy place for my wife and I. So with being said I want to give a high five too Isaac for being so nice and courteous to us and making our trip successful. So if you should stay there let Issac know what an awesome job he is doing. My only curb was when i tried to order my egg the chef or cook told me he would be right back and instead went to the back and just looked at me. Bad business. Needless to say i didn't even get my eggs. Overall this Embassy Suites really rocks... and the breakfast is awesome....

We've stayed here twice, and both times have been great! We absolutely love their breakfast, especially their omelettes made to order, and they also offer 2 free adult drinks every evening. Our 2 room suite was great as it provided the space we needed traveling with teens, and it also allowed for us to shut our door so they could play all night. Every staff member we encountered was nice. Overall, our experience was excellent.
